fake news …

                              …how would you know?

Can you really trust what you hear or read?
NO, regrettably not!
So how then can you know
… what is fake and what is not fake news?

If it brings pressure or fear
whilst promoting a solution that has
… a cost to your livelihood,
… a cost to your freedom,
and limits your rights and abilities…

Is there any good in that news?
      Nothing at all!
It’s rooted and driven by what is negative!

On the other hand …

If it brings pressure – with a solution
that does NOT cost you your livelihood
and does not threaten your freedom
… nor attempt to limit your rights and abilities…

That is good news, that is real news!
Yes, it does have the same facts
… but is dealt with honestly and positively!

As is written …

      Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you;
not as the world gives do I give to you.
Let not your heart be troubled,
      neither let it be afraid.
      John 14 27

The denial of reality…

                                 …negating what is!

Just as darkness is the absence of light,
… and black is the absence of colour,
so evil is the absence of good,
… of what is real,
… of what is right!

It is the denial of what is true,
and therefore cannot exist on its own.

It is in opposition to God,
… the negative of what is good,
thereby opposing creation and existence itself!

It is for this very reason that
… God told Adam NOT to eat,
of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Knowing what is good,
… and that evil is the opposite thereof,
… is sufficient,
because by partaking of evil,
… you are in fact denying what is good,
… the reality of God, of life
and of creation itself.

But he who does the truth comes to the light,
that his deeds may be clearly seen,
that they have been done in God.
      John 3 21

The absence of…

                                 …what is real!

There are many things that actually are not,
… yet are perceived by us as real.
Such as for instance darkness.
We so often even say this darkness is so thick
… you can cut it with a knife!

      However, darkness is a non-entity,
… and if you don’t believe that,
… then go ahead and prove it as being real!
Well at least you can try!

Go into a room that is full of light,
and switch on darkness!!!
You cannot, no matter how you try,
… it is simply impossible,
because there is NO switch to turn darkness on or off!

So, what then is darkness?
Darkness is quite simply the absence of light,
and therefore, if you want darkness,
… you have to switch off light!
In other words, you have to remove light,
… or remove yourself from the light.

Look up at the sky at night,
… what do you ‘SEE’?
Nothing – except where something actually reflects light,
… like the moon, stars, etc.
Otherwise all there is, is NOTHING,
a nothing that we call darkness!

      Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you;
he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going.
      John 12 35

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light
we have fellowship with one another…
      1 John 1 7

Does fear…

                                     … disappear!

For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
      2 Tim 1:7

God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but that does not mean
… that fear will not try to come upon us,
… that fear will not try to take hold of our minds.
Not at all,
… fear is always trying to come into our lives!

What the Bible does say is that,
… we have not been given a spirit of fear,
so fear is NOT part of our makeup.
However that does not make it disappear,
… as it is up to us whether we allow it to stay,
… and allow it to take hold of our minds.

In other words,
we need to reject what is NOT ours,
and stand against those thoughts, by

casting down arguments and every high thing
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
      bringing every thought into captivity
      to the obedience of Christ,
      2 Cor 10:5

As it is written …

For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
      2 Tim 1:7

Let Him be your strength, your source and your guide
… and fear will find no place in you!

Frozen in Fear

                      Although they are alive,
                      … they don’t have life!

Why do so many people fear, and particularly fear death?
The most common reason is that,
… people fear loneliness and emptiness.

Most everyone wants to live forever,
… some are so fanatical, they have themselves deep frozen,
and hope that someday when science has made a way,
… their bodies can be thawed and made alive again,
… and they will be able to live forever!

Fact is though that those who are constantly living in fear,
… have this one thing in common, that
although they are alive, (living and breathing)
they actually don’t have life,
nor do they understand that life, in reality, is forever!

LIFE and the reality of eternal life,
… only becomes real when you know the LIFE giver,
when Jesus becomes real to you and in you!

His life and His love in you,
… is what frees you from the hold of things and thoughts,
and is what releases you from fear, and the fear of loss,
… enabling you to fully live LIFE.

That is when real life begins,
… a life that impacts others,
… and a life that drives out the fear of death.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
has made me free from the law of sin and death.
      Rom 8:2
